Hi, I’m Candace Lam, a luxury event planner in Southern California, offering wedding and corporate event planning with heart and intention.

How it Started

I started this company in 2012 out of a genuine love for celebrating people and telling their stories through meaningful events. What began as helping friends with their weddings quickly turned into a lifelong calling.

Weddings hold a special place in my heart. I still get emotional seeing our couples walk down the aisle. I’m the lead floral designer, and I find so much joy in creating floral arrangements that feel personal and intentional. To me, flowers aren’t just décor—they set the tone, carry emotion, and bring the story of your celebration to life.   As a luxury event planner in Southern California, I’ve learned how meaningful every choice can be when telling a client’s unique story.  Every design is curated with care, always rooted in your vision and values.

Over the years, Love Is Sweet Events has grown into more than just weddings. Today, we are a full-service planning company based in Pasadena. We proudly serve clients across Los Angeles, Orange County, Southern California, and beyond.

Many of our clients live out of state or overseas and return home to Los Angeles for their most meaningful milestones. We’re honored to help bring those visions to life.
